The Eye Glasses of GOD

1 Cor 13:12 KJV “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”

You know sometimes God just shows up. I never really know when or where but I love HIS surprises.

So last night I was awake early and after saying my prayers went down to make coffee. It was still dark so I decided to have a look at the stars. It was a nice night so I could see a few bright ones.

I figured I should maybe have a look through the telescope as well. So I hauled off all the caps and had a look through the finder and I was awe struck.

What I could see with the naked eye through my window was only a small fraction of what I could see with the telescope. There were thousands! The LORD brought to my mnd a Scripture of Abraham and the number of his decendants. They would be as numerous as the stars said God. I can see why Abraham was a man of faith.

God said something else though. Now there are some bright ones that you saw with your own eyes, but how many more thousands upon thousands are there that you did not see. They are hidden. They don’t shine much in the world but they are very very bright if you see them the way I do!

Oh Glory to GOD! So many we tend to forget. All those who are hidden doing the LORD’s work. Those praying for hours, those tending the sick and lonely, and those enduring unspeakable hardships. They are all the thousands upon thousands that may not shime in the world for our natural eyes to see but oh do they shine for GOD!

So when you feel alone, or small, and cut off from the world, or think your work and calling is insignificant, just remember all of those stars, and how many there are! GOD knows and sees each one, and HE sees you too. God’s eye glasses never get dirty. Have faith, you are surrounded but a great group of witnesses! AMEN!

All Glory and Honour is yours Almighty Father through your Son, JESUS CHRIST!
