The Hebrew Word- Watermelon אבטיח

Well I am not a great story teller, that is for sure, but now and then the LORD asks me to share things, and I try my best to give it to you the way HE gives it to me.

The other day me and my husband were on a road trip to a bigger city to get some things we needed and a song came on the radio about watermelons. The LORD said “You need to look that up.” I was like ok, and I said to my husband to remind me. Guess what? Well, I forgot and he forgot. I was like what was it I had to look up, what was it? As it happened our radio was off at the time, as in the area we were driving the reception is always terrible, but we tried as we were getting close to where we would pick it up again. So I pressed the dial and there it was, the same song about watermelons. I looked at my husband and I said “YES that’s it, watermelons that is what I need to look up!” Thank you LORD for the reminder! The LORD is sooooo GOOD!

Anyway the watermelons. So there is this old song by Tom T Hall called “Old Dogs, and Children, and Watermelon Wine” It says there is nothing in this world worth a dime except old dogs and children, and watermelon wine.

He says old dogs will always forgive you when you make mistakes, GOD BLESS little children before they learn to hate. BUT, he does not say what the watermelon wine is, or why it’s good!

In the Book of Proverbs 3:5 KJV “Trust the LORD with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding.” This word “trust” is melon. The melon that clings to the vine. JESUS is the true vine that is our only SALVATION and hope, and security.

If you look at this word it’s like having four Hebrew letter Chets joined together. This is a thicket of bushes of thornes, a wall of thornes used as protection to keep out invaders. The Ram in the Thicket. HE is the wall of protection. OUR PROTECTION!

Watermelon is the word “Avatiah” Aleph, Beth, Tet, Yod, Chet

Aleph, (God the Father), though the mighty deed/work (Yod) of the Son, (Beth) puts up the wall of Protection (Tet, a combination of Vav and Zayin where the KING became the servant and bent down) providing the door of LIFE by taking on the yoke (Chet).

You try to carry a watemelon any disatnce? Heavy hey? JESUS carried that yoke for you, so you don’t have to. That shell is very hard but all those seeds inside are well protected, covered! Watermelon wine is VERY GOOD!

All Glory and Honour is Yours Almighty Father through your SON, JESUS CHRIST!
