Psalm 112:5 KJV “A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.”
A while ago we decided to go on a camping trip in a local provincial park. It was just for a few nights. We had not been camping for a few years, but we had kept all our camping stuff.
My husband booked us a spot, and off we went. It was a lovely park, clean and quiet.
During a day trip we headed to a local grocery store to pick up a few things, and I decided to buy a few magazines to read at night as of course we did not bring computers or anything like that. I saw for the first time a Bible Word Find. It’s the first time I have ever seen one like that.
Now the funny thing is I did not really get the chance to open it, or look at it until yesterday when I came home. When I opened the book I saw that it had been already marked in. I thought this to be strange as it was a brand new book. Now this book has 111 puzzles based on a Bible Scripture. It was the 2nd puzzle that had the word crossed out. It was just one word from Psalm 112 verse 5, and it was the word “Lendeth.” I thought this is most certainty GOD’s handy work. Of all the books I could have bought, why this one? And why did it have just one word crossed out? I checked through the entire book, and there was not another mark, not one.
In this verse the word “Lendeth” means to add, to join, to bring more. It was a message.
So here is the verse.
It says a good man (GOD) shows favour (mercy), and lendeth (continues to add mercy): he will guide (supply) his affairs (leading) with discretion (righteousness).
Does GOD expect any less from us?
Matthew 5:7 KJV “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. This is GOD’s Message to us.
